American IPA hopped with Segal Ranch High Oil Cascade, Crosby Estate Comet, Centennial, Chinook CGX

We brew this beer in celebration of our outpost on Governors Island. What's Governors Island, you ask? It's a lovely little urban oasis just a ferry ride over from Manhattan, an extraordinary public open space and home to other educational, recreational, not-for-profit, and commercial facilities. It's also home to our converted shipping container bar, where we sling beers and burgers (by our friends The Meat Hook, of course) on weekends throughout summer.

This year's version of Public Property is an IPA hopped with 100% public (vs. proprietary) and purposefully-sourced hop varieties. Public hop varieties are ones that anyone can grow without yield limits. Some of our favorites include Cascade, Comet and Centennial... which, as you may have guessed, are all featured in this batch.
